Printing Guide

Follow the print settings below to get started on printing your own planner inserts.

Planner Paper

Take a few minutes to configure these settings to avoid the hassle and mess of cutting inserts.

To use these settings your printer must support custom size printing. Please ensure your printer settings to make sure custom paper size printing is enabled.

Add Planner Paper Size

1. Open your file without trim mark with the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. Add the paper size under “Page setup…” by selecting “Manage custom sizes” under the drop down. (See image 1.3)

Personal: 95 x 171mm
Personal Wide: 121 x 171mm (4.75 x 6.75 in)
A5: 148 x 210mm
A6: 105 x 148mm
Half:
140 x 220mm (5.5 x 8.5 in)
Pocket: 81 x 140 (trimmed down to 120mm later)

3. Follow the standard printing guide on this page to start printing directly on your planner paper.

Standard Print Settings

Settings for printing on planner (non-trim file) and standard (trim file) sized paper.

For DATED inserts, select odd pages for the front pages. When printing back pages select even pages and check reverse pages.

1. Open your file with the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. Configure the settings (see image 1.1 for reference)

Copies: Optional
Pages: All or select the page range you wish to print.
Page Size and Handling: Actual Size
Orientation: Auto Portrait / Landscape

3. Flip your page or stack and print again with the same settings

A4 and US Letter paper (Double Sided)

1. Open your file with the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. Configure the settings  (see image 1.2 for reference)

Copies: Optional
Pages: All or select the page range you wish to print.
Page Size and Handling: Actual Size
Print on both sides of paper: Yes (Flip on short edge for horizontal pages. Flip on long edge for vertical pages.)
Orientation: Auto Portrait / Landscape

To use these settings your printer must support duplex printing (automatic double-sided) .
